April 23, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 12:30 p.m., April 23, 2025, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Zarlingo, Bader, Rhyne, <br />Vogeli, Tuohy, and President Schwab were present. Council Member Fosse was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the April 16, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin attended the Economic Alliance Snohomish County Annual meeting, where <br />leadership awards are presented, and the City of Everett’s former Council Member Paul Roberts, <br />received the new Chair's Lifetime Legacy Award. She also stated that this evening is the 2025 <br />Snohomish County Workers Memorial Ceremony being held at the Mission Building Courtyard <br />on the corner of Wetmore and Pacific Avenue beginning at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />President Schwab stated that due to unforeseen circumstances, the Little Wings Childcare Center <br />presentation has been cancelled. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received 4 written comments, and the following member of the public spoke: Evan <br />Bingaman <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the Regional Law and Justice Council, and the Puget Sound <br />Regional Council Transportation Policy Board meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne thanked the public commenter, attended the Lowell Neighborhood <br />Association meeting, and reminded the public that the Everett Farmer’s Market “Get Ready <br />Market” is this Sunday, April 27th. <br />
