April 6, 2016 <br /> Vice President Tuohy requested a letter from the Everett School District <br /> regarding the installation of artificial turf that uses crumb rubber at Kasch <br /> Park be entered into the record. <br /> The following individuals spoke in support of the proposed ordinance and <br /> bid award: <br /> Mike Todd, District 1 Commissioner, Washington Youth Soccer <br /> Mike Simmons, Everett, North County Youth Soccer representative <br /> Andrew T. Serafini, Ph.D., President, Washington Rush Youth Soccer <br /> Michael Mallahan, President, Irish Soccer Club <br /> Vice President Tuohy directed the city clerk to call the roll for the final <br /> disposition of the ordinance. <br /> AYES: Moore, Bader, Stonecipher, Roberts, Tuohy <br /> NAYS: None <br /> EXCUSED: Murphy, Franklin <br /> Ordinance No. 3489-16 adopted. <br /> BID AWARD — KASCH PARK SYNTHETIC TURF REPLACEMENT AND <br /> RENOVATION PROJECT <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore, to waive immaterial irregularity and award the construction <br /> contract for the synthetic turf replacement and renovation project on <br /> Kasch Park multipurpose fields 2 and 3 to Premier Field <br /> Development in the amount of $2,860,100.00 plus Washington State <br /> sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Murphy and Franklin who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 114 <br />
