April 30, 2025 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 12:30 p.m., April 30, 2025, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Member Zarlingo, Fosse, Bader, Rhyne, Vogeli, Tuohy, <br />and President Schwab were present. Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the April 23, 2025 meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The Council received two (2) written comments, and no members of the public spoke. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the Silver Lake Neighborhood Association Meeting and the <br />Snohomish County Tomorrow meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne attended the Downtown Everett Association Planting Day, the Everett <br />Farmer’s Market “Get Ready Market”, reminded the public that May 17th is Clean Everett Day, <br />and requested noise emphasis patrol. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli attended the grand opening of the Bodega on Broadway. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy acknowledged Everett native Carol Kaye for her induction to the Rock & <br />Roll Hall of Fame, attended the Council of Neighborhoods meeting, and reminded the public that <br />Monte Cristo Award nominations are open, and the next Community Health & Safety Committee <br />meeting is May 7th at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />President Schwab provided updates regarding Council involvement to the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
