Spray Type D is not allowed. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Where called for in the plans, green color pavement markings shall meet the 5 <br />requirements of MUTCD Interim Approval for Optional Use of Green Colored 6 <br />Pavement for Bike Lanes, IA-14. The color shall be green and will comply with FHWA 7 <br />standards for daytime and nighttime chromaticity values. 8 <br /> 9 <br />a. The nighttime chromaticity coordinates for the color used for 16 <br />green colored pavement shall be as follows: 17 <br /> 18 <br />1 2 3 4 <br />x <br />0.230 <br />y <br />0.754 <br />x <br />0.336 <br />y <br />0.540 <br />x <br />0.457 <br />y <br />0.500 <br />x <br />0.479 <br />y <br />0.520 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br />8-22.3 Construction Requirements 21 <br /> 22 <br />Pavement markings shall be installed in accordance with Section 8-22.3 of the Standard 23 <br />Specifications with the following modifications: 24 <br /> 25 <br />8) All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. 26 <br />9) Access parking space symbols, arrows, letters, and speed hump symbols shall be 27 <br />Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. 28 <br />10) All Crosswalk Line shall be solid white lines, 24” wide, installed in accordance with 29 <br />City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 721 and shall be Type D extruded plastic 30 <br />flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. 31 <br />11) All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of 32 <br />travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. 33 <br />12) Profiled plastic Type D material, where called for in the Appendices to the Special 34 <br />Provisions, shall be used for lane line dividing traffic in the same direction of travel 35 <br />including plastic skip white lane line, and solid white edge line, or other lines 36 <br />staked by the Engineer. 37 <br />13) All white parking lines shall be shall be Type D plastic flat line. 38 <br />14) All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. 39
