Approximate times and days for starting and ending daily operations. 32 33 5-04.3(14)B3 Pre-Paving and Pre-Planing Briefing 34 At least 2 Working Days before the first paving operation and the first planing operation, 35 or as scheduled by the Engineer for future paving and planing operations to ensure the 36 Contractor has adequately prepared for notifying and coordinating as required in the 37 Contract, the Contractor must be prepared to discuss that day’s operations as they relate 38 to other entities and to public safety and convenience, including driveway and business 39 access, garbage truck operations, transit operations and working around energized 40 overhead wires, school and nursing home and hospital and other accesses, other 41 Contractors who may be operating in the area, pedestrian and bicycle traffic, and 42 emergency services. The Contractor, and Subcontractors that may be part of that day’s 43 operations, must meet with the Engineer and discuss the proposed operation as it 44 relates to the submitted planing plan and paving plan, approved traffic control plan, and 45 public convenience and safety.
