Section 12: 5OTD 0- CASH GUARANTY IN LIEU OF QUARANTINE: In lieu <br /> of isolation or quarantine the Health Officer may require any such <br /> person infected with any of said diseases to enter into an agreement <br /> not to commit or perform anyaot which Light or would infect or expose <br /> tc infection any other person, to continue proper medical treatment <br /> until cured, and to faithfully observe all rules, regulations and re- <br /> quirements of said TTealth Officer to protect the public against infec- <br /> tion or contagion. Any person entering into such agreement shall furn- <br /> ish an undertaking in favor of the city of Everett, with one or more <br /> sureties to be approved by the City Clerk, in the penal sure of one <br /> thousand ($1,000) dollars, conditioned upon the faithful performance of <br /> such written agreement; provided, that a cash guaranty in a like amount <br /> lay be accepted in lieu of such undertaking. Before any patient is dis- <br /> charged from such agreement as cured, final .exa ination and approval <br /> of the Health Officer must be secured. <br /> ryection 13: SPREAD OF VENEREAL DISEASE UNLAWFUL: It shall be unlawful <br /> for any person to inoculate any other person with any of the said venereal <br /> diseases, and it shall be unlawful for any person to perfora or commit <br /> any act which exposes any other person to inoculation of or infection <br /> with any of the said diseases. <br /> Section 14: ORDER OF BOATD OF HEALTH: It shall be unlawful for any <br /> person to neglect or refuse to obey any order of the Board of Health or <br /> of the Health Officer authorized by this crainance, or to interfere with <br /> or obstruct said Board of Health or TJealth Officer in the performance <br /> of the duties herein required. <br /> Section 15: VIOLATIONS: Any person violating any of the provisions <br /> of this ordinance shall be punished by a find of not more than one hundred <br /> ( 100) dollars, or by imprisonment in the eity jail for a period of not <br /> to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> section 16: If any part of this ordinance shall, for any reason, <br /> be invalid, the remainder shall nevertheless be in full force and effect. <br />
