c. Removal of existing non -bearing partitions have been identified on sheet
A2, and the location of new interior partitions have been identified on
Sheet A3.
d. Structural framing plans have been added on sheet A5 to demonstrate that
neither the unpermitted remodel nor the proposed revisions for
compliance did/will not require any structural modifications.
2. Structural load paths were not modified as part of the remodel.
3. As the exterior walls of the existing structure were not modified (other than
increasing the depth of the west window in BED 3 and replacing the existing deck
door with a window in Bonus 1), a general fastener schedule is unnecessary.
4. There are no new headers in the scope of the work performed.
5. Preservative -treated wood was not used in the scope of the work performed.
6. The existing stair modifications will be removed as detailed in our response to
Architectural Comment #5, and a stair section detailing the formerly -existing
stair assembly has been added on Sheet A&, SECTION c PROPOSED
COMPLIANCE STAIR SECTION.
-7. The existing deck will be removed per sheet A3.
6. The remaining new partitions shown on Sheet A3 are non -bearing, so I suspect
they have typical 2x top and bottom plates; new infill details for the replacement
window in Bonus 1 and the stair framing required to rebuild the existing assembly
can be provided once selective demolition has been completed if required.
Submitted for your consideration -
J(55TT r"r IC,t5
Arch itect
RIVERSIDE ARCHITECTURE
jeffcarive rarch.net
