<br />Everett Transit College Plug-In Bus Charger <br /> <br />May 7, 2025 Everett Transit College Plug-In Bus Charger Page | 1 <br />Project Understanding <br />Based on the April 22, 2025, site meeting with Everett Transit personnel and Snohomish County <br />PUD and subsequent April 30, 2025, Teams meeting, we have developed the following scope of <br />work and estimate for engineering services. This project will include electrical design to install a <br />200kW plug-in bus charger at the Everett College Transit Station. <br />Scope of Services <br />David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) shall provide the following Scope of Services: <br />Task 1 – Project Management <br />DEA shall provide project management throughout the duration of the project. This includes the <br />work necessary to guide and direct DEA’s overall processes and project team. DEA will manage <br />its production efforts including administering the contract, monitoring progress, and directing its <br />quality control activities. <br />Task 1 Deliverables <br />1. Monthly invoices <br />Task 2 – Electrical Engineering and Design (50% Level) <br />David Evans and Associates, Inc. shall work with Everett Transit, Snohomish County PUD, <br />and ChargePoint, the manufacturer of the bus charger to: <br /> <br />• Develop construction drawings to prepare the site and building electrical plans showing <br />one (1) plug-in bus charger, that includes a 200kW bus charger cabinet with inverter. <br /> <br />List and identify all system components and their installation requirements and locations, to <br />include, but not limited to: <br /> <br />• Concrete work and platform requirements for all components. <br />• Conduit, wires, and conduit duct banks. <br />• Trenching and boring requirements. <br />• Transformer, service panelboard, vaults, etc. <br /> <br />Identify location, and describe and design installation requirements for chargers within the <br />area identified by Everett Transit, to include, but not limited to: <br /> <br />• Concrete platform and protective bollards. <br />• Electrical conduit runs and connections. <br />• Coordinate service with Snohomish County PUD: Application for service, etc. <br />• Riser diagram, load calculations, fault current calculations. <br />• Provide a rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost of installation and construction. <br />Task 2 Deliverables – <br />• Engineering drawings for review. <br />• Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) construction cost
