June 4, 2025 <br />2 <br /> <br />President Schwab thanked the Mayor’s staff for their work on Everett 2044 and advised the public <br />that the Mayor’s Office and the Planning Department is responsible for historic designations can <br />assist homeowners with obtaining historic designation. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson advised the minimum wage resolution was not <br />included on this agenda and requested it be added. <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION ITEM: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – MINIMUM WAGE RULES <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 8175 to adopt rules to enact the new minimum wage as required by citizen-led City of <br />Everett Initiative Measure 24-01. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall had no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8173 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$3,129,400.51 for the period ending May 17, 2025 through May 23, 2025. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS
