6. On Sheet S1,the photovoltaic design weight allowance appears to be missing from the <br /> drawings, but there appears a reference to a panel allowance on S4.4W and S4.4E. Please <br /> verify that the design weight allowance is indicated on the plans as there appears to be a <br /> proposed roof photovoltaic system on Sheets A216A,A216B. IBC 1603.1.8.1. <br /> 7. On detail 5/S8, appears to be a special boundary element detail. Please verify that cross-ties <br /> are extending a minimum of 12" into the foundation, as it does not appear to captured in <br /> the detail or the shear wall elevations. ACI 318-14 18.10.6.4. <br /> RESUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br /> Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> Please include a response letter indicating how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building <br /> Code (IEBC),the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC),the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), <br /> and/or the 2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and <br /> adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 <br /> "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and <br /> standards may be more restrictive. <br /> These comments address building issues only.Additional revisions or additions may be required by <br /> other departments (such as Utilities,Traffic, Planning or Fire).
