The height of the existing pole is 28.6' and the <br />proposed height including the small wireless facility equipment is 35'. Small equipment enclosures <br />would be attached to the replacement pole and a canister antenna would be mounted to the top of the <br />pole. All equipment would be painted to match the replacement pole. No exposed conduits are included <br />with this proposal; all required conduits would be routed inside the pole. <br />Everett Municipal Code (EMC) 19.41.150.13 requires that special property uses subject to a Review <br />Process II be evaluated per the General Evaluation Criteria of EMC 19.41.150.C. Above Ground Utility <br />and Communications Facilities are also subject to the Evaluation Criteria for Specific Uses identified in <br />EMC 19.41.150.D.1.b. Additionally, this proposal is subject to an Amended Planning Director <br />Interpretation issued in 2018 (PD118-01) that specifically addressed "small cell" and "micro -cell" wireless <br />facilities and how they are to be evaluated in accordance with the EMC criteria specified above. <br />A 14-day public comment period for the proposal was completed; written comments were received <br />from one person during the public comment period. The written comments received were in relation to <br />ownership and leasing details of the pole and no concerns regarding the design or the required criteria <br />were expressed. <br />Decision: The City of Everett Planning Director APPROVES the Special Property Use for the small <br />wireless facility on a replacement street light pole for AT&T Mobility.
