Dewatering efforts will be
limited to incidental trench dewatering of shallow water subsurface and surface runoff
collected in trenches. To the extent feasible trench excavations should be conducted during
summer and fall periods when the need for trench dewatering will be minimized. If dewater is
required the water should be disposed of in one of the following methods.
Discharge to vegetated areas. Onsite vegetated areas to be retained are not
protected due to environmental sensitivity. Dewatering water may be dispersed into
any vegetated area within the site. Site discharge turbidity restrictions apply to any
water leaving the site, even dispersed water which runs overland. Overland
discharges from the site other than those noted in Section 6.0 should be added to the
sampling map and sampling conducted in accordance with the general permit.
1
1
1
1
1
1
1
1
1
r]
V
1
Pa-2e 114
