EVERETT <br />WASHINGTON <br />December 16, 2019 <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />Permit Services <br />Owner: Nehra <br />Job Address: 4735 Bayview Ln. <br />Plan Check No: CW1910-004 <br />RE: Building Permit Review Letter <br />Dear Mr. Nehra, <br />In response to the application for a building permit, the plans have been examined and you are advised that <br />revisions are necessary before a permit can be issued. Please review and respond to the comments below. <br />1. All rooms shall be identified with a unique label. If a space has a similar use, add a number <br />designation to the space, such as Kitchen #1, Kitchen #2 or Living Room #1 and Living Room #2. <br />2. It appears that the minimum fixture clearance per Table R307 is not provided in the following <br />bathrooms; Bathroom A, Bathroom B, Powder and Bathroom D. Please correct. <br />3. The "AS BUILT— BASEMENT" plan on sheet A3 shows an unfinished space under Bedroom #1 as <br />existing. Please correct. <br />4. Revise plans to show new construction at the foundation under the proposed Bathroom B9 and <br />Walk-in Closet B9. <br />5. Provide R-10 rigid insulation thermal break at the perimeter of the slab -on -grade, where the slab is <br />within 24 inches of the finished grade. Where the slab -on -grade is more than 24 inches below the <br />exterior finished grade, provide minimum R-5 rigid insulation thermal break at the perimeter of the <br />slab -on -grade. Show the insulation requirements on the plan view and in section drawings. <br />6. The Energy Credit option 1b selected on the drawings requires exterior walls to be insulated with <br />minimum R-21 insulation in the cavity and R-4 on the exterior of the wall. Please show all insulation <br />required on all building sections, details and drawings. <br />7. The foundation plan shows holddowns that are in conflict with windows, doors and foundation <br />vents. Please correct. <br />8. Provide section drawing at front Entry Porch showing construction and weatherproofing of the inset <br />entry. <br />9. Please remove wall framing from the foundation plan. Use different symbols to represent existing <br />construction and new construction. <br />10. Provide detail(s) of the connection of the new foundation and footings to the existing foundation <br />and footings. <br />11.
