Hi Katie, Just some thoughts: • Is the door a 2x to allow for large equipment passage?Correct, large enough to replace any of the (electrical) equipment in this room • Will this interior area be positively pressurized under normal conditions?Yes,the electrical room is positively pressurized with continuously ventilation,as required by the Consent Decree for this project. • Are both leaves operable or is one secured unless needed?Yes,the door leaf closer to the generator exhaust can (and will) be secured. I think this will help even greater. • Can we make the doors 20-minute rated assemblies(meaning could they be installed as smoke-and-draft- control doors as required for corridors)?The gasketing for the door is currently 20-minute rated.
