June 11, 2025 <br />2 <br /> <br />Housing Conference, attended Sorticulture, and took part in the Parks and Built Environment <br />Committee meeting. Additionally, Council Member Rhyne reminded the public of several <br />upcoming events: the Lowell Neighborhood Association Meeting and the Port Garner <br />Neighborhood Association Meeting on Monday, the Valley View Neighborhood Association <br />Meeting on Tuesday, the ribbon cutting for Kel’s Café on June 17th at 12:30 p.m., and the Everett <br />Station District Alliance Street Fair on June 18th. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli provided condolences on the loss of her friend Linda and Brian Wilson. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy thanked Tyler Chism, Kari Quaas, staff and volunteers for their work on <br />Sorticulture. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson advised that Saturday has three Everett Public <br />High Schools will be performing graduations at Angel of the Winds Arenas; Everett High School is <br />at 11 a.m., Cascade High School is at 3 p.m. and Henry M. Jackson is at 7 p.m. and advised that <br />expressive activity is expected on Saturday as well. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall has no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8176 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$3,721,785.98 for the period ending May 17, 2025 through May 30, 2025. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – 2025-032 SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE <br /> <br />To authorize the release of Request for Proposal #2025-035 Sodium Hypochlorite in the form <br />substantially provided. <br /> <br />AWARD – 2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY – W.
