Numbering System. The numbering scheme used in the Unified Development Code operates in the 3 <br />following manner: 4 <br />Figure 1-1: UDC Numbering System 5 <br /> 6 <br />B. Zone Designations. The zoning map establishes zone designatfons for all property in the city. An 7 <br />individual wantfng to develop property in Everett should start by looking up the zone designatfon on the 8 <br />zoning map. 9 <br />C. Use Tables. The use tables in Chapter 19.05 EMC list the permitted uses for each zone designatfon, as 10 <br />well as special regulatfons that apply to specific uses and specific locatfons. Use these tables to 11 <br />determine whether a use is allowed in a partfcular zone, and what type of review process is required. 12 <br />D. Development Standards. After the zoning and allowable uses have been determined, the user should 13 <br />refer to the additfonal chapters of this tftle for development standards that apply to building placement, 14 <br />building design, and site development standards (parking, landscaping, streets/sidewalks, fences, 15 <br />screening, and exterior lightfng).
