If only two off-street parking spaces 4 <br />are required, the figure on the right would be allowed because the third space would not be a required 5 <br />off-street parking space. 6 <br />E. Accessible Parking. Accessible parking stalls shall meet the requirements of Washington State 7 <br />Regulatfons for Barrier Free Facilitfes (Chapter 51-50 WAC). 8 <br />F. Parking Area Illuminatfon. All sSurface parking areas for multfple-family residentfal uses with nine or 9 <br />more parking spaces and or for any nonresidentfal uses shall provide illuminatfon to improve site 10 <br />security and minimize light spill and glare impacts on adjacent propertfes. Parking area illuminatfon shall 11 <br />meet the following standards: 12 <br />1. Parking area lightfng fixtures shall be full cut-off (zero percent candlepower at ninety degrees 13 <br />horizontal and ten percent maximum candlepower at eighty degrees from vertfcal), dark sky 14 <br />rated, and mounted no more than thirty feet above the ground, with lower fixtures preferable so 15 <br />as to maintain a human scale. 16 <br />2. All fixtures over fifteen feet in height shall be fitted with a full cut-off luminaire. 17 <br />3. Figure 4. Except within industrial zones, pedestrian-scaled lightfng (light fixtures no taller than fifteen 21 <br />feet) is encouraged in areas of pedestrian actfvity. 22
