Low impact development facilitfes under EMC 19.35.130(E) are allowed and encouraged as part of 3 <br />landscaping under this sectfon. 4 <br />19.35.090, SPECIAL LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO NEIGHBORHOOD 5 <br />RESIDENTIAL ZONES. 6 <br />A. Additfonal landscaping applicable to townhouse and duplex developments in single-family zones [R-7 <br />S, R-1, R-2 and R-2(A)]. In additfon to providing landscaping pursuant to Tables 35-1 and 35-2, street 8 <br />trees between the curb and sidewalk, or within five feet if there is no landscape strip, is are required 9 <br />along the within eight feet of the front and side streets frontage. Street trees Trees shall be two inches in 10 <br />caliper at breastdiameter at four 4.5 feet in height, planted every thirty twenty feet on center. 11 <br />B. Additfonal landscaping applicable to multffamily development in the UR4 zone (Metro Everett only). 12 <br />The standards in this sectfon apply to propertfes in the UR4 zone in Metro Everett and are in additfon to 13 <br />the standards in Tables 35-1 and 35-2. 14 <br />C. For developments with residentfal uses all street-facing elevatfons must have landscaping along any 15 <br />exposed foundatfon. The landscaped area may be along the outer edge of a porch instead of the 16 <br />foundatfon. This landscaping requirement does not apply to portfons of the building facade that provide 17 <br />access for pedestrians or vehicles to the building.
