<br />C. Describe your firm’s experience in conducting Community <br />Risk Assessments and Standards of Cover for Fire <br />Departments. Specifically, address your company’s experience <br />with Washington Survey and Ratings Bureau (WSRB) rating <br />strategies, National Fire Protection Association performance <br />measures (NFPA), and the Commission on Fire Accreditation <br />International (CFAI). <br />Darkhorse Emergency has extensive experience developing Master <br />Plans, Community Risk Assessments and Standards of Cover for fire <br />departments of various sizes across North <br />America. Most recently we’ve completed a <br />Masterplan and Community Risk Assessment <br />for Raleigh, NC and a large Needs <br />Assessment study for Vancouver, Canada. <br />Our work with Washington-based <br />departments includes Snohomish Regional <br />Fire & Rescue, Spokane Fire Department, <br />Central Pierce Fire & Rescue, and Central <br />Kitsap Fire & Rescue, which has given us <br />deep familiarity with local challenges and <br />Washington Survey and Ratings Bureau <br />(WSRB) rating strategies and requirements. <br />Darkhorse Emergency is recognized by partners such as the Western <br />Fire Chiefs Association and are regular contributors to the CPSE <br />University.
