Our work does <br /> not include onsite infiltration testing services. <br /> 3.0 SITE CONDITIONS <br /> 3.1 surface. <br /> The subject site is an irregular shaped residential parcel located at 4326 Crescent Avenue in <br /> Everett, Washington. The subject site is currently unoccupied and has a surface area of O.65 <br /> acres. The site is bordered with existing.residential lots to the.nodli.and south,.Fcdcr d Avenuc to <br /> the west, and Crescent Avenue to the cast, Access to the site is provided by Federal Avenue to <br /> tice west,and Crescent Avenue to the cast. The current site layout is shown on the Exploration Location Plan <br /> i provided in Figure 2. <br /> Surface grades ill the vicinity of the site slope down to the-east. Surface grades oil the subject site <br /> slope down.to the east at iiic linations raiibing from 20 to 40 percent. The steeper slopes are along <br /> the roadway enibankuaent for federal Avenue along the; west side of the site. Site vegetation <br /> g <br /> consists of various medittna-sized evergreen and deciduous trees with mcideratcly thief <br /> underbrush. <br /> E <br /> 3.2 Mapped Soils <br /> ,According to the Geologic Map nfthe Everett 7.5-Miruk, Quadrangle, .S'rresltr»rrisla Count),, by <br /> :lames P.Minard(1985),the soil in the vicinity of the site is snapped as Advance Outwash (Qva). <br /> The Advance OutwvRsh was deposited during the Vashon stage of -the Fraser glaciation <br /> approximately 12,000 to 15,000 years ago. The Advallec Outwash was deposited in front of the <br /> advancing glacial ice sheet during brief periods of wanoing. The Advance C]utwash Nvas <br /> consequently overridden by the glacial ice mass. The Advance OutWash will typic ally be found <br /> in a dense condition where undisturbed. The near surface soils at.the site have been disturbed by <br /> natural. weathering processes that. have occurred. since their deposition. No springs or <br /> groundwater seepage was observed oil the surface of the site at the time of our site visit.
