The subject site is an irregular shaped residential parcel located at 4326 Crescent Avenue in Everett, Washington. The subject site is currently unoccupied and has a surface area of O.65 acres. The site is bordered with existing.residential lots to the.nodli.and south,.Fcdcr d Avenuc to the west, and Crescent Avenue to the cast, Access to the site is provided by Federal Avenue to tice west,and Crescent Avenue to the cast. Surface grades ill the vicinity of the site slope down to the-east. Surface grades oil the subject site slope down.to the east at iiic linations raiibing from 20 to 40 percent. The steeper slopes are along the roadway enibankuaent for federal Avenue along the; west side of the site. Site vegetation g consists of various medittna-sized evergreen and deciduous trees with mcideratcly thief underbrush. E 3.2 Mapped Soils ,According to the Geologic Map nfthe Everett 7.5-Miruk, Quadrangle, .S'rresltr»rrisla Count),, by :lames P.Minard(1985),the soil in the vicinity of the site is snapped as Advance Outwash (Qva). The Advance OutwvRsh was deposited during the Vashon stage of -the Fraser glaciation approximately 12,000 to 15,000 years ago. The Advallec Outwash was deposited in front of the advancing glacial ice sheet during brief periods of wanoing. The Advance C]utwash Nvas consequently overridden by the glacial ice mass. The Advance OutWash will typic ally be found in a dense condition where undisturbed. The near surface soils at.the site have been disturbed by natural. weathering processes that. have occurred. since their deposition. No springs or groundwater seepage was observed oil the surface of the site at the time of our site visit.
