safety features and emergency machine off (EMO) switches are tested for <br /> proper operation. <br /> 6.8 Field Testing <br /> Field testing is performed on the equipment, to meet the field testing <br /> requirements of the standards referenced in Section 4.0, unless <br /> production test results have been provided by the equipment manufacturer <br /> and accepted by eti Conformity Services. If no production tests are <br /> submitted, then testing is performed to verify the equipment to be <br /> operating within normally expected parameters as detailed in Section 8.0. <br /> 7.0 EQUIPMENT EVALUATION <br /> 7.1 Transfer Cart, Rail Cells and Former <br /> 7.1.1 System Description <br /> The equipment inspected consists of a separate transfer cart, rain <br /> cells which include the former sled motor and the former and is <br /> manufactured by Electroimpact. The equipment is rated at <br /> 480VAC, 3 Phase, 60 HZ, 3A/17A/17A and is used as part of an <br /> automated carbon fiber forming cell. The equipment is installed <br /> indoors in an ordinary (non-hazardous) location, and has been <br /> evaluated for use in this location only. <br /> 7.1.2 Grounding <br /> Exposed non-current carrying parts of the equipment were verified <br /> to be effectively grounded in accordance with the applicable <br /> provisions of NEC', Article 250. <br /> 7.1.3 Guarding of Live Parts <br /> All internal components are enclosed in a grounded, screw closed, <br /> metal enclosure, and are effectively guarded per NEC°, Section <br /> 110.27. <br /> 7.1.4 Overcurrent Protection <br /> Overcurrent protection on the transfer cart was provided by a 10- <br /> amp breaker. Overcurrent protection on the rail cells was provided <br /> by class J 30 Amp fuses. Overcurrent protection of the former was <br /> provided by class J 30 Amp fuses.
