List of all equipment to be used for paving. 8 <br /> 9 <br />6. List of personnel and associated job classification assigned to each piece of 10 <br />paving equipment. 11 <br /> 12 <br />7. Description (geometric or narrative) of the scheduled sequence of planing and of 13 <br />paving and intended area of planing and of paving for each day’s work, must 14 <br />include the directions of proposed planing and of proposed paving, sequence of 15 <br />adjacent lane paving, sequence of skipped lane paving, intersection planing and 16 <br />paving scheduling and sequencing, and proposed notifications and coordinations 17 <br />to be timely made. The plan must show HMA joints relative to the final pavement 18 <br />marking lane lines. 19 <br /> 20 <br />8. Names, job titles, and contact information for field, office, and plant supervisory 21 <br />personnel. 22 <br /> 23 <br />9. A copy of the approved Mix Designs. 24 <br /> 25 <br />10. Tonnage of HMA to be placed each day. 26 <br /> 27 <br />11. Approximate times and days for starting and ending daily operations. 28 <br /> 29 <br />5-04.3(14)B3 Pre-Paving and Pre-Planing Briefing 30 <br />At least 2 Working Days before the first paving operation and the first planing operation, 31 <br />or as scheduled by the Engineer for future paving and planing operations to ensure the 32 <br />Contractor has adequately prepared for notifying and coordinating as required in the 33 <br />Contract, the Contractor must be prepared to discuss that day’s operations as they relate 34 <br />to other entities and to public safety and convenience, including driveway and business 35 <br />access, garbage truck operations, transit operations and working around energized 36 <br />overhead wires, school and nursing home and hospital and other accesses, other 37 <br />Contractors who may be operating in the area, pedestrian and bicycle traffic, and 38 <br />emergency services. The Contractor, and Subcontractors that may be part of that day’s 39 <br />operations, must meet with the Engineer and discuss the proposed operation as it 40 <br />relates to the submitted planing plan and paving plan, approved traffic control plan, and 41 <br />public convenience and safety. Such discussion includes, but is not limited to: 42 <br /> 43 <br />1. General for both the Paving and Planing: 44 <br /> 45 <br />a. The actual times of starting and ending daily operations. 46
