In intersections, how to break up the intersection, and address traffic control 2 <br />and signalization for that operation, including use of peace officers. 3 <br /> 4 <br />c. The sequencing and scheduling of paving operations and of planing operations, 5 <br />as applicable, as it relates to traffic control, public convenience and safety, and 6 <br />other Contractors who may operate in the Project limits. 7 <br /> 8 <br />d. Notifications required of Contractor activities and coordinating with other entities 9 <br />and the public as necessary. 10 <br /> 11 <br />e. Description of the sequencing of installation and types of temporary pavement 12 <br />markings as it relates to planning and paving. 13 <br /> 14 <br />f. Description of the sequencing of installation of, and the removal of, temporary 15 <br />pavement patch material around exposed castings and as may be needed. 16 <br /> 17 <br />g. Description of procedures and equipment to identify hidden metal in the 18 <br />pavement, such as survey monumentation, monitoring wells, streetcar rail, and 19 <br />castings, before planing as per Section 5-04.3(14)B2. 20 <br /> 21 <br />h. Paving – additional topics: 30 <br /> 31 <br />a. When to start applying tack and coordinating with paving. 32 <br /> 33 <br />b. Types of equipment and numbers of each type of equipment to be used. If 34 <br />more pieces of equipment than personnel are proposed, describe the 35 <br />sequencing of the personnel operating the types of equipment. Discuss the 36 <br />continuance of operator personnel for each type of equipment as it relates to 37 <br />meeting Specification requirements. 38 <br /> 39 <br />c. Number of JMFs to be placed, and if more than one JMF is used, how the 40 <br />Contractor will ensure different JMFs are distinguished, how pavers and how 41 <br />MTVs are distinguished, and how pavers and MTVs are cleaned so that one 42 <br />JMF does not adversely influence the other JMF. 43 <br /> 44 <br />d. Description of contingency plans for that day’s operations such as equipment 45 <br />breakdown, rain out, and supplier shutdown of operations. 46
