<br />2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, BROADWAY – CALIFORNIA ST TO 18TH ST SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />FEDERAL AID# STBGUL-2715(012); COE PW# 3841 SP-117 May 6, 2025 <br /> <br />complete the video detection system, shall be included in the lump sum Contract price. 1 <br />Removal and salvage of existing materials associated with the construction not shown in 2 <br />the Plans or called for herein and which are required to complete the video detection 3 <br />system, shall be included in the lump sum Contract price. 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br />CNH 8-22.DOCX 7 <br />8-22 PAVEMENT MARKING 8 <br /> 9 <br />(******) 10 <br /> 11 <br />Section 8-22 of the Standard Specification is supplemented by the following: 12 <br /> 13 <br />8-22.2 Materials 14 <br /> 15 <br />All plastic marking, except bicycle pavement markings and symbols, shall be Type D. 16 <br /> 17 <br />8-22.3 Construction Requirements 18 <br /> 19 <br />Pavement markings shall be installed in accordance with Section 8-22.3 of the Standard 20 <br />Specifications with the following modifications: 21 <br /> 22 <br />1. All Stop Line shall be 24” wide Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is 23 <br />not allowed. 24 <br />2. All Crosswalk Line shall be solid white lines, 24” wide, installed in accordance with 25 <br />City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 721 and shall be Type D extruded plastic 26 <br />flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. 27 <br />3. All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of 28 <br />travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. 29 <br />4. Profiled plastic Type D material, where called for in the Appendices to the Special 30 <br />Provisions, shall be used for lane line dividing traffic in the same direction of travel 31 <br />including plastic skip white lane line, and solid white edge line, or other lines 32 <br />staked by the Engineer. 33 <br />5. All white parking lines shall be shall be Type D plastic flat line. 34 <br />6. All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. 35 <br />7. Access parking space symbols, arrows, letters, bicycle symbols, and speed hump 36 <br />symbols shall be Type D extruded plastic flat line.
