2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, BROADWAY – CALIFORNIA ST TO 18TH ST SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />FEDERAL AID# STBGUL-2715(012); COE PW# 3841 SP-64 May 6, 2025 <br /> <br />Washington State Patrol 1 <br />Contact: 2 <br />$$ 3 <br />*** Dispatch, (360) 654-1204 Provide Name, Phone, and Nature of 4 <br />Request, D7services@wsp.wa.gov 5 <br />*** 6 <br />$$ 7 <br />The services provided under the bid item “Uniformed Police Officer” shall be considered 8 <br />a subcontractor with the attendant requirements and responsibilities. 9 <br />The Contractor must obtain prior approval for use of off-duty Uniformed Police Officers 10 <br />through an Approved Traffic Control Plan and approved amendments to the contract 11 <br />traffic control Plans. The off-duty Uniformed Police Officer shall be in addition to all other 12 <br />personnel required for flagging according to the approved traffic control plan. 13 <br />A Uniformed Police Officer shall be provided in the event of accidental power outages or 14 <br />disruption of a signalized intersection as a result of Contractor’s Work and remain in place 15 <br />until the intersection becomes satisfactorily operational as determined by Agency Engineer 16 <br />or his/her representative. 17 <br />The UPO shall be capable of issuing legal tickets for offenders and providing their Agency 18 <br />Police Vehicle with active light bars for night visibility. 19 <br /> 20 <br />1-10.4.GR1 21 <br />Measurement 22 <br /> 23 <br />1-10.4(2).RTF 24 <br />1-10.4(2) Item Bids With Lump Sum for Incidentals 25 <br />(April 22,2025 APWA GSP) 26 <br /> 27 <br />Section 1-10.4(2) is supplemented with the following: 28 <br />“Uniformed Police Officer” will be measured by the hour.
