The proposed amendment for the same office space is for a duration of six years at the monthly rate of $1,020, which includes 306 square feet at a rate of $37.06/sf and an annual charge of $900 for parking. This is an increase from the prior rate of $27.32/sf. Project summary statement: On May 7, 2003, the City Council approved a 44-month lease with Senator Cantwell to lease 306 square feet of office space on the 9th floor of the Everett Municipal Building located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue and two parking spaces. The initial lease term ended December 31, 2006. Subsequent lease agreements commenced at six-year intervals each on January 3rd of 2007, 2013, and 2019 coinciding with the Lessee’s senate terms. The current amendment includes the additional amenity of cable service.
