Broadway Everett Expansion Storm Drainage Report
November 16, 2022
1. Preparation of Stormwater Site Plans:
A stormwater site plan has been prepared and has been submitted for review and acceptance.
2. Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan:
A CSWPP Plan has been prepared and is included as section 7 of this report in accordance with
the ECY Manual.
3. Source Control of Pollution:
Source control BMPs S410 for Correcting Illicit Discharges to Storm Drains, S453 for Formation of
a Pollution Prevention Team, S454 for Preventive Maintenance/Good Housekeeping, S455 for Spill
Prevention and Cleanup, S456 for Employee Training, S457 for Inspections, and S458 for Record
Keeping will be implemented.
Additional BMPs are:
• S421 BMPs for Parking and Storage of Vehicles and Equipment—Oil control is not
required for the site therefore this BMP does not apply.
• S411 BMPs for Landscaping and Lawn/Vegetation Management—Vegetation onsite will
be managed to minimize erosion and the flow of debris into stormwater.
• S450 BMPs for Irrigation — Irrigation onsite will be limited to prevent runoff and discharge
to drainage systems.
• S442 BMPs for Labeling Storm Drain Inlets on Your Property—Storm drain inlets will be
labeled to prohibit improper dumping.
• S443 BMPs for Fertilizer Application—The amount of fertilizer used for vegetation will be
minimized.
• S451 BMPs for Building, Repair, Remodeling, Painting, and Construction—Site activities
will be controlled to minimize the leaks or spills of contaminants or loose particles into the
drainage system.
• S435 BMPs for Pesticides and an Integrated pest Management Program— Pesticide use
will be minimized to prevent contamination of stormwater.
4. Preservation of Natural Drainage Systems and Outfalls:
The existing wetvault is used for detention on-site. The project does not alter the on-site
stormwater system and will continue to discharge at its natural location at Wood Creek.
5. On-Site Stormwater Management:
The 2,000 SF impervious surface threshold has been exceeded, and the evaluation of List#2 will
be required to meet On-Site Stormwater Management. BMP T5.13 will be applied to landscaped
areas and permeable pavement will be applied to walkway surfaces. No BMPs were feasible for
the roof surface. See Appendix A— Hard Surface Summary for Proposed Design and Section
4.1 —On-Site Stormwater Management.
Page 3
