7.6.4 Overcurrent Protection
Overcurrent protection was provided by a 600 Amp breaker with a
450 Amp trip unit. Additional overcurrent protection was provided
by devices as shown on the electrical diagrams.
7.6.5 Wiring
All wiring was found to be UL listed or recognized type MTW/THHN
or equivalent.
7.6.6 Equipment Discrepancies
No discrepancies were observed during the evaluation of the
equipment listed in Section 5.0.
8.0 TESTING RESULTS AND INSTRUMENTS
8.1 Field Testing
The following field-testing was completed with the summary results as
indicated. Please refer to the Product Evaluation Data Sheet in Appendix
B in this report for complete details on the specific tests completed.
8.1.1 Operation of EMO Switches
Each EMO switch provided on the equipment listed in Section 5.0
was operated individually while the machine was operating.
Actuation of each EMO switch was verified to properly stop the
operation of the equipment.
8.1.2 Bonding Test
The equipment bonding was verified as being properly installed.
The resistance was measured from the main equipment grounding
terminal to all applicable exposed metal structures or surfaces and
installed equipment ground points. The maximum resistance
permitted is 0.1 Ohm. The test results indicated satisfactory
bonding with all resistance measures below 0.1 Ohm.
Reference No.: 1108546 Page 11
