ORDINANCE NO. 1790 An ordinance providing for the improvement of Clinton Place from the west line of Norton Avenue to the east line of Friday Avenue, and Friday Avenue from the north line of Clinton Place to the south line of Fortieth Street, by removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of concrete walks, plank curbs and gutters, installation of necessary drainage and hydrants; and also Friday Avenue from Fortieth to Fortyfirst Street by grading to proper grade, construction of four foot temporary plank walks, plank curbs and gutters, installation of necessary drainage and hydrants, and doing such other work in the entire district as may be necessary to make a complete improvement; approving the plans and specifications for such improvement; creat- ing an assessment district; creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing for payment of said improvement by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of "Payment by Bonds". WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 2501 of the city of Everett, the city council of said city has declared its intention to order the improvement of Clinton place from the west line of Norton Avenue to the east line of Friday Avenue, and Friday Avenue from the north line of Clinton dace to the south line of Fortieth Street; and Friday Avenue from Fortieth to Fortyfirst Street, in accordance with plan: prepared by the city engineer, NOT THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Clinton place from the west line of Norton Avenue to the east line of Friday Avenue, and Friday Avenue from the north line of Clinton Place to the south line of Fortieth Street be improved by removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, con- struction of concrete walks, plank curbs and gutters, installa- tion of necessary drainage and hydrants; and also Friday Pvenue from Fortieth to Fortyfirst Street be improved by grading to proper grade, construction of four foot temporary plank walks, plank curbs
