Proposed Remedial Excavation: 4849 Spire Lane, Everett,WA
December 8, 2022
residence to the north, Spire Lane to the south and west, and Vesper Drive to the south and
cast. The site is occupied by a one-story single-family residence with attached garage at
the approximate center of the property. The house is surrounded with landscaped yard and
lawn areas. The site grade is relatively flat except for a short rockery at the east side of the
lot providing a grade break with the Vesper Drive right-of-way sloping down to the north.
We understand that a remedial excavation of impacted soils up to about 15 feet deep may
be needed directly south of the residence and west of the driveway area(see Plate 1,below).
We understand that the excavation is not planned to extend within the footprint of the
house. The approximate location of the proposed excavation is shown on the attached
Figure 2 (prepared by Bluestone Environmental,NW).
II I
tik;
k g
• • _;L:
Plate 1. Looking approximately north at the intersection of Spire Lane(picture left) and Vesper
Drive (picture right). The proposed excavation will take place along the south side of the
residence in the landscaped area between the right-of-way and driveway(center ofphoto).
Due to the depth of the proposed excavation, to limit the extent of disturbance to the
adjacent structure, which could occur due to sloughing of the cut, we understand that
sequential excavation methods may be utilized in close proximity to the existing structure.
22-389_4849 spire lane everett_ipt.docx Page 2 PanGEO, Inc.
