From: Thad Newport
Sent: Saturday,August 12,2023 10:23 AM
To: TLEVIN40@YAHOO.COM
Subject: B2308-020 1013 RUCKER AVE-Public Works Comments
Category 2:Sensitive information
Hello Tyler,
I am doing the Public Works reviewer for your Building Permit B2308-020,Enlarge Footprint of Garage
Pad and Build New Garage.Based on the submitted site plan it looks like the garage footprint is
increasing by 206SF(New footprint 26'x24'=624SF minus old garage footprint 22'x19'=418SF).Projects
in the combined sewer area that have a net new impervious surface area of 200SF or more are required
to completed the Small Project Stormwater Site Plan/Report. It may be that the new garage footprint
overlaps with the existing pavement/walkway I see in the aerial photo below which would reduce the
net new area, but it isn't drawn on the plans that way so I'll either need the report or an updated site
plan showing the net new impervious area is less than 200SF. This form can be overwhelming and I
would suggest if you have questions consulting with a civil engineer to work on a design to properly
manage stormwater runoff from the roof and any other proposed impervious surface areas.
r
i
- 1013
k=
 N
