June 1, 2016 <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Jackie Minchew, Everett, spoke about his plans to attend the "Our <br /> Renewable Future" book launch event in San Francisco this week. He <br /> also encouraged Council to consider Everett events such as the long-time <br /> bicycle movement Ciclovia, which is held weekly in Bogota, Colombia. <br /> Gail Chism, Everett, spoke about the Chuck Close exhibit and what a <br /> great event it is for the community. She also thanked the parks <br /> department for delivering flowers to Lowell Park, which were planted near <br /> the war memorial. Ms. Chism also inquired about the height limit for <br /> houses being built on the Simpson site. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated she will ask staff to contact Ms. <br /> Chism. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Award Request for Proposal 2015-097 for Ambulance Transport <br /> Services and Authorize the Mayor to sign the Contract with <br /> Platinum Nine Holdings LLC, doing business as NW Ambulance in <br /> the amount of$158,167.04, substantially in the form provided. <br /> Presented by Tim Key, Fire Department <br /> Council Member Stonecipher stated the umbrella insurance policy <br /> appears to be low for the type of work being done. She asked that the <br /> coverage requirement be verified before the item is presented to Council <br /> for action. <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1605-26 <br /> FIRST READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Comprehensive Plan Map <br /> Designation with a Rezone for the North Portion of Community <br /> Health Center of Snohomish County's Property located at 1019 <br /> 112th St. SW, amending Ordinance No's 2021-94 and 1671-89, as <br /> amended <br /> Presented by Allan Giffen, Planning Department <br /> 179 <br />
