I
I Drainage Report
Boeing Everett- E-6 Parking Lot Expansion July 16, 2013
I1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I The project is located at 3003 W Casino Rd in Everett, WA, and is part of the large Boeing
Everett commercial facility. The project involves the expansion of an existing 54,320 SF
employee asphalt parking area, including grading, drainage and paving for the addition of 61,310
I SF of asphalt to provide additional employee parking for the facility. The existing asphalt lot will
be expanded to the north, south and west to add 160 stalls for Boeing employees. The total area
expected to be disturbed by clearing, grading, excavation, and other construction activities will
I
be limited to the proposed paving area. Proposed construction requires 1,785 CY of cut and 513
CY of fill. The project location is shown in FIGURE 1.
1 R
t
Boeing Everett , .:,,., Seaway 81vd, yam_
sow sip Commercial Airplane Facility i 2
a tied+'.,
■ PROJECT 517E
r
taw
, 1 M
IFIGURE 1 Site Location
I The project will comply with the 2010 City of Everett Stormwater Management Manual
(hereafter referred to as the "Stormwater Manual"), which references the 2005 Washington State
Department of Ecology Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington.
1 This report follows the Stormwater Site Plan requirements as stipulated in Section 3.1 of the
Stormwater Manual.
I1.1 Predeveloped Site Conditions
The predeveloped site contains an existing 54,320 SF parking lot and 61,310 SF of
I lawn/vegetation to the north, west, and south of the lot. There are numerous small trees that will
be removed as part of the development. On the west side of the site, there is an existing grass
swale with concrete inlets. This swale does not treat or detain any stormwater runoff according to
I Boeing and can be removed. There are several electrical and telephone duct banks that run across
the site in each direction. The electrical duct bank to the south of the existing parking lot is
shallow and will remain just south of the south parking lot expansion area.
