Bob's Burger and Brew
City of Everett, WA Stormwater Site Plan December 21,2009
Project Overview
' Site Location:
The report accompanies the Site Civil Plans to construct an approximate 6500 SF
' restaurant located at 1605 Southwest Everett Mall Way in Everett, Washington. The
improvements will include modifying the existing drainage facility onsite and
incorporating additional water quality and quantity facilities and developing to site
' to allow construction of the proposed restaurant.
The site is approximately 1.26 acres and is bound on the south and west by Top
Food and Drug, to the west by Everett Mall Way and to the north by Cypress Lawn
Cemetery.
' Design Criteria:
The site is designed in accordance with the City of Everett Stormwater Management
Manual dated January 1997.
' Waterqualityfacilities were sized usinga continuous runoff model, WWHMv3,
with data collected over a 50 year period from 1948 to 1997 to treat 91% of the
runoff volume.
' Detention facilities were sized using Stormshed3G. This program utilizes the SBUH
method and bases rainfall intensities on user defined 24-hour rainfall events. The
specific events are listed in the City's Manual.
Proposed Drainage System:
The proposed drainage improvements will provide water quality treatment via
Filterra Units, a General Use Level Designation (GULD) device for basic, enhanced,
and oil/water separation as defined by the Washington Department of Ecology. The
Filterra units will be designed as an on-line facility with flows exceeded the water
quality event bypassing treatment. The Filterra Units were designed to treat 91% of
the water quality volume.
Conclusion:
The proposed stormwater management system for this project has been designed in
accordance with the City of Everett Stormwater Management Manual , dated
January 1997, regulatory criteria described above and is consistent with sound
engineering practice. This design has incorporated stormwater detention for
stormwater quantity control and basic treatment for stormwater quality control. No
significant adverse impacts to the stormwater management system are expected as a
result of the proposed development.
PA LAND C Project#30182002 Page 1
