Pest <br /> problems are universally easier to control if the problem can be discovered early. With integrated pest <br /> management pesticides are used only as a last resort. Maximization of natural controls, including <br /> biological controls and removal of pests by hand, is always the first choice. <br /> More information on integrated pest management is available from the Washington State Department of <br /> Agriculture and from the Washington State University Extension Service.
