V. RUNOFF CONTROL BMP'S
The project requires compliance with the 1997 City of Everett Stormwater Management Manual.
Stormwater will be discharge to the existing 24" storm drain within 4th Avenue West.
A new 24"storm drain will be installed to convey the drainage from the neighboring properties to the
west, replacing the existing 18" storm drain that passes under the proposed building.
Since the development will result in a decrease in impervious area, flow control measures will not be
required.
Water quality measures will be required to treat the 6-mo/24-hr storm event. A Stormfilter manhole
is proposed for water quality treatment. A Stormceptor manhole has been selected as a
pretreatment measure prior to the Stormfilter.
On-site storm drains have been sized to accommodate a 25-year/24-hour storm event using the
Rational Method.
The proposed sediment pond calculations are also included within this section of the report.
