The clearing limits will be marked with fencing. The clearing limits will basically
be the boundary of the site as limited space is available.
2. A Rock Construction Entrance will be provided per C105 to allow entrance and
exit from the site without tracking dirt onto Seahurst Avenue.
3. This small project does not require the control of stormwater flow rates as less
that 5,000sf of impervious surface will be provided per 2.1.1.
4. Sediment control will be provided by use of a silt fence per C233,mulching per
C121 and storm drain inlet protection per C220
5. Soils will be stabilized by use of mulching per C121
6. Protection of slopes is not requires as no steep slopes will be affected by this
project and none exist no the site.
7. Drain Inlets will be protected using C220 for the new catch basin in the driveway
until it is paved and for the existing storm manhole at the NE corner of the site.
8. Stabilization of Channels and Outlets is not required as none exist on this project.
9. Control of Pollutants will be done by providing a downturned elbow in the
driveway catch basin. As this residential driveway is less than 2,000sf no
additional measures are needed.
10. Control of Dewatering is not required on this project as no groundwater is
expected to be encountered.
11. Maintain BMP's will be done by the owner. BMP's will be removed within 30
days of the site being stabilized.
12. Manage the Project will be done by the Owner. He will inspect and monitor the
effectiveness of the BMP's to insure that no problems occur.
Section 2 Project Description:
The 15,961sf(0.366+/-acre) site is located on the Southeast corner of Glenwood Avenue
and Seahurst Avenue. The site is currently vacant. The site slopes down to the northeast
at 10%+/-. Storm water runoff currently sheet flows off of the vacant site to Seahurst
Avenue. See attached basin map.The flow will continue to flow to the west as it now
does but an infiltration trench will be installed to better infiltrate the flow from the
driveway. Splashblocks will spread the flow from the roof out over the site. The
pavement will slope to the catch basin and the catch basin will drain to the infiltration
trench. An overflow will be provided to the Drain at the NE Corner of the lot.
1
