4
1. INTRODUCTION
This document is intended to provide the engineering information necessary to support
the construction plan submittal to the City of Everett for this site. The site covers 0.14
acres. The area of disturbance for this project will include the entire site. This project will
include some off-site paving within the adjacent alley to the west and on the property to
the south which is under the same ownership. In addition, the on-site improvements
include 11 parking stalls and a 26' wide drive isle.
This project proposes to create 0.11 acres of new impervious surfaces including asphalt
and curbing. This will require the construction of stormwater conveyance system with a
connection to the City's combined storm/sewer system. Parking lot runoff will pass
through curb openings along the north side of the parking stalls and then into a vegetated
swale. This swale has been designed with multiple check dams to aid in the attenuation
of flows and retention of the runoff on-site. The site stormwater improvements were
designed to meet the COE 2010 Stormwater Management Manual along with the
modifications to the standards contained in the interim Public Works Policy#2-11.
The site is located west of Nassau St. at 3020 Nassau Street, in the City of Everett, and
in Section 30, Township 29N, Range 5E, Willamette Meridian.
