Page 13 of 26 <br />10. Servicing, stocking, and maintaining all equipment and machines, including removing and disposing of <br />expired or spoiled products. Stocking must be completed at frequencies adequate to avoid significant <br />lost sales and to provide a high level of services to consumers. <br />11. Provide equipment maintenance and repair service to minimize downtime when malfunctions are <br />reported. Repairs are expected to be made within 48 hours of the call-in, seven (7) days a week. <br />Equipment that cannot be returned to full service within 72 hours of notification of needed repair <br />must be replaced with comparable equipment of like quality until the original equipment is returned <br />to service. <br />2.15 CITY OF EVERETT RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City of Everett is responsible for providing the following: <br />1. Space for the machines and equipment. <br />2. Electricity. However, the City cannot guarantee an uninterrupted flow of electricity. The City will <br />not be liable for any equipment or product loss resulting from interruptions or failures of utility <br />services. <br />3. Provide janitorial service to the common areas. <br />4. Final determination and approval of the various locations' types and varieties of machines and <br />product offerings. <br />2.16 SERVICE CHANGES <br />At its sole discretion, the City reserves the right to change, add, or delete locations. The City also reserves <br />the right to make changes, additions to, or deductions from the scope of work provided that they conform <br />to the general scope of the Request for Proposal. The Supplier will not affect any change without prior <br />approval from the City through a written amendment to the contract. <br />2.17 CONTRACT TRANSITION <br />If a follow-on contract is awarded to another supplier, the supplier must ensure a cooperative and smooth <br />transition to the new contract provider. <br />
