COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
I
Based on the CITY OF EVERETT STORMWATER MANAGEMENT MANUAL
(February 15, 2010), Volume 1,Figure 2.2 (see attached)this proposed new development project
will comply with Minimum Requirements#1 through#9. The purpose of the requirements is to
prevent and control adverse impacts of the drainage and stormwater on the public health, safety
I and general welfare. To meet these requirements, a Construction Storm Water Pollution
Prevention Plan (SWPPP) has been provided. The following address the 9 Minimum
Requirements:
I
Minimum Requirement#1: STORMWATER SITE PLAN
PREPARATION
A Stormwater Site Plans have been prepared for City of Everett review and approval. These
plans use LID features including infiltration, rain gardens, amended soil and catch basins with oil
water separators'.
1
Minimum Requirement#2: CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER
POLLUTION PREVENTION
Plans have been prepared for City of Everett review and approval for both clearing, grading
activities. As shown the plans establish permitted areas for clearing and grading limitations
The twelve elements detailed in volume II, Chapter 2.4 shall be included in the SWPPP and the
construction site operator shall insure that they are implemented unless site conditions render the
element unnecessary and the exemption from that element is clearly justified in the SWPPP.
Minimum Requirement#3: SOURCE CONTROL OF POLLUTION.
The subject area will be graded using BMP's for the proposed 9-residential buildings, 1-veehicle
wash building, private road and sidewalk, 9-driveways, drainage facilities, utilities and the
I mitigation facilities. During grading, equipment will be maintained so as not to be a source of
pollution. Potential pollutant materials for the pole building will not be stored within the parking
area of the site. Any stored materials will be stored within the building site. Construction
equipment and construction vehicle washing will not be allowed.
The building constructed specifically for washing vehicles will drain to the sanitary sewer as
required per city of Everett Stormwater Management Manual (Feb. 15, 2010) Volume IV, Ch.
3.3, A1.3.
7
