Please clarify <br />and add this information as required per IBC 1603.1.5. <br />7. On Sheet S1, the photovoltaic design weight allowance appears to be missingfrom the <br />drawings, but there appears a reference to a panel allowance on S4.4N and S4.4S. Please <br />verifythat the design weight allowance is indicated on the plans as there appears to be a <br />proposed roof photovoltaic system on Sheets A256B, A256C. IBC 1603.1.8.1. <br />B. On detail 5/S8, appears to be a special boundary element detail. Please verify that cross -ties <br />are extending a minimum of 12" into the foundation, as it does not appearto captured in <br />the detail orthe shearwall elevations. ACI 316-1418.10.6.4. <br />RESUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br />Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br />Please include a response letter indicating howthe corrections were resolved. <br />All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building <br />Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), <br />and/orthe 2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended bythe State of Washington and <br />adopted bythe City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 <br />''Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities'' (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and <br />standards may be more restrictive. <br />These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by <br />other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire).
