OAC
subcontractors to verify assembly installation, details, and expectations. Field quality control
site visits meet the requirements of ESDS 7.13B Option #01 and RCW 64.55.050(1)(b).
o Any recommendations from a building enclosure perspective given to the Contractor were for
the Owner to review and install. OAC verified that all recommendations have been
addressed by either contractor confirmation, photo verification or follow-up site visits.
OAC performed field penetration water resistance testing of a representative sample of window and
sliding glass door assemblies (RCW 64.55.050(1)(a) and ESDS 7.13B Option #03). Testing was
performed in compliance with ASTM E 1105. All windows and sliding glass doors tested
subsequently passed — any failures during testing were remediated on -site and re -tested until pass.
OAC provided the necessary testing and reporting to meet the requirements set forth by ESDS 4.1 b
"Water Conserving Fixtures," and 7.5 "Ventilation." OAC verified the required sampling of water
fixtures and whole house fans met the requirements — all testing reports were submitted to the
Owner.
In our opinion, "Four Corners" Building E has been constructed, from a building enclosure
perspective, in conformance with the Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard, version 3.0,
requirements for Section 7.13 Enhanced Building Envelope Design and RCW 64.55.005 through
64.55.090. The work we observed has been performed in substantial compliance with the Building
Enclosure Design Documents within the architectural drawings and corresponding approved
Request for Information (RFI) and Architect's Supplemental Information (ASI) design changes
related to the building. There are no outstanding items on the OAC Field Reports.
We hope we have provided the information you need. If you have any questions, please do not
hesitate to contact our office.
Sincerely,
err May, AIA
Sr. Director— Building nclosure Design
OAC Services, Inc.
Cc: Mike Vaughan, Heartland Construction
Suzan Williams, Heartland Construction
Erin Jensen, Heartland Construction
FOUR CORNERS — BUILDING E I Building Enclosure Close-out Letter 12
R 12-200117.00
May 22, 2024
