Calculations substantiating <br />the design of the holdowns should be submitted for review. The holdowns resist seismic load <br />and should include overstrength per ACI 318-14 Section 17.2.3.4.3. The design should use the <br />load combinations of ASCE 7-10 Section 12.4.3.2. See IBC Sections 1604.1, 1613.1, and <br />1901.2, and ACI 318-14 Section 17.2.3.4.2. <br />This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br />amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br />during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br />requirements.
