The final contract Sum $893,697.93 <br />The project is funded in part and in partnership with Snohomish PUD through a Washington State <br />Department of Commerce Electrification of Transportation Systems Grant in the amount of <br />$728,780.00. Everett Transit local funds are allocated for the balance of construction costs. <br />Project summary statement: <br />Everett Transit’s Charging Infrastructure Projects provide for the installation of on-demand <br />charging capability in support of the City’s green infrastructure goals and expansion of its electric <br />bus fleet. Since 2018, Everett Transit's electric buses have: traveled more than 1.39 million clean <br />miles; cut diesel fuel use by more than 290,000 gallons; and eliminated significant noise <br />pollution. <br />Everett Transit is committed to creating a sustainable fleet while maintaining and strengthening <br />its reliability. This project directly supports these goals. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Accept the Everett Transit Eclipse Mill Inductive Charging Infrastructure Project as complete and <br />authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion. <br /> <br />City Council Agenda Item Cover Sheet
