Figure 5 - View of Wetland A, facing northwest.
The soils underlying Wetland A are generally very dark grayish brown (IOYR 3/2) silt from 0 to
10 inches. From 10 to 18 inches soils are dark grayish brown (2.5Y 4/2) silt with 10 percent strong
dark yellowish brown (IOYR 4/6) redoximorphic features. This soil profile displays a hydric soil
indicator of Redox Dark Surface (F6). During the December site visit, saturation (A3) was present
at a depth of 10 inches within Wetland A.
The area mapped as Wetland A displays a dominance of facultative or wetter plant species and
meets hydric soil and wetland hydrology indicators. Please refer to the attached wetland
determination data form for Wetland A (Sampling Point S2).
Wetland A received an overall score of 12 points on the 2014 DOE Wetland Rating Form, with a
low habitat functions score of 3. Wetlands with total scores between 9 and 15 points are classified
as Category IV wetlands. The DOE Rating Form and associated figures are attached to this report.
Per EMC 19.37.050, All Category IV wetlands less than four thousand square feet that are: not
associated with riparian areas, not associated with shorelines of the state, are not part of a mosaic,
do not score five or more points for habitat function, and do not contain priority habitat or priority
species may be excepted from wetland preservation and protection goals.
Sage Homo, Voahwesl LLC - .STr l land Property % Critical Area Study
14 RI #20299 December 20, 2021
