July 23, 2025 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Executive Director Lori Cummings had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Deputy City Attorney Ramsey Ramerman requested a 5-minute executive session pursuant to <br />RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) with anticipated Council action to follow. He also stated Legal will be <br />providing an update on residential candidacy requirements for elected positions. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8191 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$5,332,463.40 for the period ending July 5, 2025, through July 11, 2025. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT AMENDED - LEXINGTON-BROADWAY STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS <br />PHASE 1 PROJECT <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment #1 to the Professional Services Agreement with <br />HDR Engineering, Inc. for the Lexington-Broadway Stormwater Improvements Phase 1 project <br />in the amount of $399,610. <br /> <br />AWARD - ILLUMINATION, TRAFFIC SIGNAL, AND INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS <br />EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />To award and authorize approximately $400,000 to be spent annually with various awarded <br />suppliers from Washington State Department of Enterprise Services contract #29023/City of <br />Everett contract #2025-026 for illumination, traffic signal, and intelligent transpo rtation <br />systems equipment. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Fosse who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
