Boeing 40-27 Elevator project Section 1 <br /> Job: 10403203 Fire Alarm System Submittal Manual Page 1 <br /> GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: <br /> Provide fire alarm protection for the elevator in the Boeing 40-27 building. <br /> GENERAL DESCRIPTION: <br /> The Boeing 40-27 elevator shall consist of the following primary elements. Smoke detection in <br /> the elevator lobby's, shaft and machine room, recall elevator and trigger the fire hat light. <br /> Monitor modules to monitor the shunt trip beaker and heat detectors in the shaft, pit, and <br /> machine room. Monitoring by JCI. <br /> FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL (FACP): <br /> The fire alarm and control panel is an existing Siemens model XLS micro-processor based <br /> multiplex type with an internal operating system that is used to process incoming signals and <br /> issue output commands as required by system programming or by manual inputs. The FACP <br /> consists of a main control board, annunciator/keypad, analog loop drivers, module card cage, <br /> power supply/battery charger and batteries. Visual annunciation is provided by an 80 <br /> character, liquid crystal display and alarm, supervisory and trouble status indicator lamps. <br /> EVACUATION ALARMS: <br /> Notice of building evacuation is provided by the building alarm system. <br /> Seatronics, Inc.
