FAULT/TROUBLE CONDITIONS: <br /> 2.1 Conditions in the system that may cause failure, or impair operation of the system shall cause the <br /> following: <br /> a. Cause the TROUBLE indicator lamp on the FACP to illuminate. <br /> b. Cause the internal sounder device in the FACP to activate. <br /> c. Display proper message on FACP LCD display with TROUBLE location information. <br /> d. Display trouble point location on the remote annunciators <br /> e. Transmit a TROUBLE signal to CenturyLink's remote monitoring station. <br /> f. Activate the FACP digital dialer/communicator and transmit a TROUBLE signal to the Central <br /> Station monitoring company. <br /> The following is an abbreviated list of the types of faults that will cause a trouble condition to report <br /> to the FACP. <br /> a. Open, shorted or grounded wiring on any detection circuit. <br /> b. Open, shorted or grounded wiring on any manual circuit. <br /> c. Any missing or removed addressable device such as smoke detectors, point monitoring <br /> modules or manual stations. <br /> d. Open, shorted or grounded wiring on any NAC (horn/strobe) circuit. <br /> e. Activation of any panel "Bypass" or"Override"function. <br /> f. Control Panel stand-by battery fault. <br /> g. Loss of primary 120 VAC power to panel for more than 90 seconds. <br /> h. Loss of 24VDC power to the flame detector in the generator building. <br /> i. Failure of the system dialer/communicator to properly"check-in" to the Central Station <br /> monitoring company once every 24 hours or loss of either or both phone lines connected to the <br /> dialer. <br /> End <br /> Seatronics, Inc.
