CITY OF EVERETT
EVERETT Permit Services
WASHI NGTON
March 15, 2023
Mr. Jeffery Kildare
2313 Columbia Ave.
Everett, WA 98203
Email Address: jeffropk@yahoo.com
RE: Owner: Jeffery Kildare
Job Address: 2313 Columbia Ave.
Plan Check Number: B2209-004, Second Building Review
Dear Mr. Jeffrey,
The resubmittal documents did not include an itemized review letter. A letter should be provided
as requested per Item (a) below to clearly indicate how each comment has been addressed. In
addition, some comments were not addressed and additional comments have been added.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be
submitted to Permit Services for review:
a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below.
b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings.
c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations (if applicable).
Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project
for compliance with the adopted building codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your
application will be given priority and the review will recommence.
General
1. The submitted site plan appears to include prior unpermitted work including the covered front
porch of the existing primary residence. The existing conditions shown on the site plan are not
consistent with the available City of Everett and Snohomish County records. The site plan is also
not consistent with photography available on Google Maps and GoSync (see attached document
2313 COLUMBIA— UNPERMITTED WORK). The drawings should be revised to show all previous
unpermitted work as new work; all new work is required to comply with the current code
requirements. Alternatively, the drawings should show the removal of unpermitted work and
restoration of the building to its previous legally permitted condition. See IRC Sections
R102.7.1, R105.1, and R113.1.
