It appears <br /> ground disturbing work has taken place (concrete pad for hot tub, concrete pad at the base of the stairs, posts for <br /> deck/stairs). A Geological Assessment letter is required per EMC 19.37.070 because there are mapped high landslide <br /> hazard areas and very high/severe erosion hazard areas on the property.The geological assessment shall be prepared by <br /> a licensed geologist or geotechnical engineer. This assessment is due prior to issuance of the permit. <br /> Additionally, it appears the hot tub may be within the required 5' side setback. Are you assuming the fence line is the <br /> property line? In this case, it does not appear to meet the 5' setback. A survey will be required of the north side <br /> property line if the hot tub is within 1' of the 5' setback. If it is setback 6' or more, a survey is not required.
